1,480,000 square feet of office/ retail space (35,000 square feet) in a 60 story high rise building (including 26 passenger elevators and 8 service elevators); concrete structure on a caisson and matt foundation system, a granite, glass and aluminum curtain wall façade. The top or crown of the building is made of 25 to 40 foot long cast aluminum rods. Below grade garage provides accommodations for 1,600 cars and a 10,000 square foot covered plaza.
Responsibilities: Negotiated a Guaranteed Maximum Price contract after bidding the project based on 70% completed construction documents. Worked with the developer and the design team to value engineer and provided preconstruction service throughout the document completion. Worked with the Construction Project Executive team throughout construction; managing changes, pricing change requests and change orders.
